Hot fun in the summertime...
This summer, my first summer in NY, has been a loopy, careening ride of superfun. The tally marks alone are staggering. 2 internships. 10 interviews (since May). 3 part time jobs. 4 trips to the beach. 2 cell phones, 2 metro cards & 2 makeup purchases. 1 air conditioner, 1.5 free hair cuts (I trimmed my bangs myself) and 4 pairs of gladiator sandals - 5 if you count the pair with the 4" wedges. Though, would Maximus actually wear those? And if not, do they really qualify as "gladiator sandals"?
One of my favorite summertime activities = movies in the park. Check it out - the park opens at 5 so you can nab a patch of grass (or gravel if you're perpetually late, a la moi) and the movies play at sundown. How romantic, right? And it looks just like this:
